unZined Reviews - Louie Louie - Carry the Man

Louie Louie, a four piece band with a twist. The twist is that whilst Paul Limer and Tom Pallett call Oldham, Manchester home, front woman Rita Faria and her brother Pedro Faria hail from Lisbon, Portugal. With their mix of different music styles they promise a unique and creative sound to their music. Performing with their current line up since September 2014, they have used this time to hone in their act, perfect and find their sound.

After hearing about them on fellow Little Indie Night resident, Iain Tinsley's unsigned radio show on Halton Community Radio and being intrigued about them and their origins, unZined reached out to find out more and review their latest release which they were more then happy for us to. Check it out below:

unZined Review - Sly Antics - Captive City EP

Three-Piece Alt-rock band Sly Antics consisting of cousins Sam and Lee Hudson and Alex Thompson from Manchester, are looking to ramp up their promotional efforts since forming earlier on this year and prior to releasing their debut release, Captive City, in December. Sam got in touch to see if I'd be up for providing a sneak preview of their five track release by reviewing two songs from the EP. Obviously, I jumped at the chance, as we at unZined love to hear from local bands and spread the word out about them. Check out my review below:
