It's not very often that I get excited about new music (most of my favourite bands are either dead or have split up) but I make an exception for Temples. I first heard Shelter Song around the middle of last year and it excited me with it's psychedelic influences along with that kasabian-esque drum beat.
They've released more music since then, toured with Suede and are about to unleash their debut LP 'Sun Structures' via Heavenly Recordings on the 10th Feb.
They're well worth a listen if you like Barrett-era Pink Floyd, lo-fi and dirty drums. If all this doesn't convince you, Johnny Marr is a fan!
